THE Irish Pharmacy Union has called for decriminalisation of drugs for personal use.
IPU President Daragh Connolly told his organisation's national conference that addressing the drug problem in Ireland is a balancing act between preventing and ensuring access to treatment for those addicted to drugs.
The call by the pharmacy peak body comes as the latest drugs strategy is currently being drafted by the Irish government.
