The sea creature was found floundering in the alley behind their Coney Street store, with CCTV showing someone leaving the crustacean earlier that day.
The pharmacy team put the animal in a bowl with some water before calling rescuers who took it to an aquarium.
Investigators are baffled about who could have dumped the crab - but we think it could have been Santa Claws.
