FEDERAL assistant minister for health David Gillespie yesterday announced $93 million in funding for a new national Rural Workforce Agency Program, with a targeted grants round in the coming months.
The move will see a revamp of existing activities, with the aim of addressing the lack of health professionals in rural and regional areas of Australia.
