were part of a team which won the
PharmHack “hackathon” organised
to generate innovative ideas to
help change Australia’s community
pharmacy sector (PD 03 Feb).

Chalasani joined up with two other
participants - Kristen Scheer-
Deimel and Rhys Deimel to take
out the top prize for ‘Checked
Up’ - a system which aims to
improve pregnancy outcomes by
coordinating information among
a woman’s healthcare providers
and sending metrics collected from
home monitoring devices to her
care team.
The foursome won $1,500 plus
start-up legal funding, ten hours of
coaching and mentoring and tickets
to a medical technology conference.
PharmHack was organised by
Sabine Eklhodr and supported by

MEDICATION management platform MedAdvisor Limited (MDR) showed strong financial performance for the quarter concluded on 31 Mar 2024, with operating revenue up 42% to $24.2 million from $17 million for the same period last year.
