DR NATALIE Soulsby, director of clinical operations and assistant clinical director at Ward Medication Management, has been named as the 2017 AACP MIMS Consultant Pharmacist of the Year.
The award was presented at last weekend's Australian Association of Consultant Pharmacy (AACP) ConPharm '17 conference in Hobart by AACP chair Joe O'Malley, AACP ceo Grant Martin and Dinah Graham from MIMS Australia.
The award recognises an outstanding contribution by an accredited pharmacist to the practice of consultant pharmacy.
Soulsby received a travel grant to the value of $5,000 to attend an upcoming pharmacy conference, courtesy of MIMS.
AACP said she was an "experienced accredited pharmacist who had proven her dedication to advancing the practice of consultant pharmacy. She provides leadership, education and support for pharmacists and pharmacy students, working to build the clinical knowledge and skills of future practitioners," the Association added in a statement.
