ICON Group was celebrating the company's Pharmacy Managers Day yesterday, with the team showing up as their heroes to celebrate September Heroes and support children with cancer or blood disorders.
Among those idolised by the Icon team were emergency service workers, stars of the AFL (with one staff member dressed in full umpire garb), Aussie farmers and comic book superheroes, Superman and Wonder Woman to name a few.
With plenty of heroes to choose from Icon co-founder and chair, Stuart Giles, took a more personal take, and donned overalls and a blond wig in honour of his wife, business partner and entrepreneur, Cathie Reid, who is set to become one of the first (if not the first) Australian pharmacist in space, when Richard Branson's Virgin Galaxy takes off.
"Our interpretations of #SeptemberHeroes for @IconGroupglobal Pharmacy Managers Day - I'm the September Issue and @stuartgiles01 has come as Future Astronaut me", Reid tweeted.
