Eculizumab orphan

THE Therapeutic Goods Administration has designated eculizumab (rmc) (SOLIRIS) as an orphan drug. Eculizumab is sponsored by Alexion Pharmaceuticals and is indicatedd for the treatment of atypical haemolytic uraemic syndrome (aHUS).
