MINISTER for MentalHealth and Ageing, Mark Butler, has announced the extension of a South Australian mental health crisis response service to a 24 hour operation. The move, in cooperation with the SA government, will also see the creation of a walk-in mental health clinic in Salisbury. Butler said the Assessment and Crisis Intervention Service (ACIS), which has received $9.5m over five years, will help ease pressure on hospital emergency departments.
