PRICELINE Pharmacy's Misterhood for the Sisterhood fundraising campaign has raised close to $1.3 million for five charities.
The six-week long campaign fronted by moustachioed cricket legend, Merv Hughes, surpassed last year's total of $1.1 million, with 100% of donations going to charities: Look Good Feel Better, Children First Foundation, Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia (PANDA), Dementia Australia and the Bump program by Raise Foundation.
Hughes was joined by five other Misters, AFL greats, Glen Jakovich (WA), Dermott Brereton (Vic & Tas) and Tony Modra (SA & NT), and former NRL stars, Billy Moore (Qld) and Braith Anasta (NSW & ACT), who visited pharmacies across their states supporting fundraising events.
The group's NSW and ACT stores combined to top the fundraising charts, achieving $480,000, while the Queensland pharmacies generated $220,000 for the charities.
Priceline Pharmacy CEO, Richard Vincent, thanked customers for their generosity in supporting the campaign.
"The $1.3 million raised will allow us to help our five great charities we support to continue their great work," he said.
"Our store teams have done a wonderful job to bring the campaign to life and our milestone fundraising is a testament to the incredible work of our teams."
