CONSUMERS can now more easily report "dodgy ads" for medicines and medical devices through a single online form, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has said.
The TGA launched a web hub on Sun bringing together news and information about the regulation of therapeutic goods advertising, together with tools for both consumers and advertisers.
The revised Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code has also been published, with more updates and additions to resources planned throughout the year - tga.gov.au.
MEANWHILE the TGA is seeking expressions of interest from professionals with expertise in relevant clinical or scientific fields or appropriate consumer health issues, to support TGA functions as a best practice regulator.
