THERE is a strong likelihood that the double dispensing of scripts for several hundred pharmacy medicines will go through as a measure to bring down costs for the Federal Government in the upcoming Budget to be handed down on 09 May.
An emergency webinar was held yesterday by the Pharmacy Guild to inform their members ahead of a possible 01 Jul implementation.
It's understood that the 60-day dispensing measure is included in draft Budget papers currently in circulation (PD 13 Apr).
