A SENATE estimates hearing recently revealed that 200,000 60-day scripts had been issued in the policy's first month.
The hearings were also told that between 01 May and 30 Sep, there were 48 applications for new pharmacy approvals, of which 18 have already been approved.
There were also four applications for pharmacy licences to be cancelled.
