AI-DRIVEN platform, PatientNotes, has introduced an iOS app that improves the way healthcare professionals handle clinical patient documentation.
By addressing the common issue of illegible doctors' handwriting, this app is set to save thousands of hours for healthcare workers across Australia each month.
"Let's face it, paperwork is the worst - especially when you're a healthcare professional trying to juggle 10 things at once," said PatientNotes CEO Jason Smale.
"PatientNotes is here to take the hassle out of your admin and get time back in your workday."
With this app, healthcare professionals can dictate notes directly into their iPhones as they move about their day, whether walking through hospital hallways, visiting patients at home, or working in noisy environments.
These notes are then easily accessible and can be further edited on desktop computers, ensuring seamless integration across devices.
Addressing security concerns related to the use of personal devices for sensitive information, Smale added, "our app incorporates stringent security measures to safeguard patient data, aligning with HIPAA [Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act] and Australian Privacy Principles".
"This makes PatientNotes a secure alternative to traditional note-taking methods which often involve unsecured voice and text messaging apps."
PatientNotes is inviting all healthcare professionals to try the new app free for 14 days to fully assess its capabilities and see how it can be integrated into their daily workflows to enhance productivity and patient service.
Smale said with its user-friendly design and robust functionality, the PatientNotes app is poised to become a vital tool for a variety of healthcare providers. JG
