VIATRIS Australia has launched a comprehensive learning online portal to support all pharmacists as scope of practice expands.
The Viatris Connect and Viatris Medical Connect website evolves with AI components, by offering dynamic content based on an individual user's interest.
The free portal is interactive and available 24/7, through which the company aims to strengthen its relationships with its customers and pharmacists.
"Pharmacists can have at hand a resource that can answer those spontaneous products or medical questions that come up with customers, and will help reinforce their own knowledge on a specific topic," Sylvain Vigneault, Viatris Australia's Country Manager told Pharmacy Daily.
"It is a condensed, handy and specific reference tool that is always available and can make the health professional's job easier."
Julie Fish, Viatris Australia's Digital and Customer Experience Lead, added that another key point of difference for the portal is the access to medical research journals and scientific papers.
"There is a gateway on the portal to Viatris Connect Medical where there are over 75 journals that pharmacists have access to, at no cost to them," revealed Fish.
"This is a strong value proposition in the portal, and we continue to evolve it and add more journals on a regular basis."
"Viatris is offering additional value to our customers, and it is part of our road map to eventually offer CPD points," Fish explained.
She mentioned that the newly launched website, which collects the user's input to learn and evolve its offering, will also provide access to webinars, Key Opinion Leader meetings, and other learning events and opportunities.
This will in turn allow all pharmacists to reshape the health environment as they use the portal, Fish concluded.
