THE Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) and Pharmaceutical Defence Limited (PDL) have launched the National Conference Volunteer Program, offering pharmacy students the chance to engage and network.
As part of the initiative, one standout student volunteer will be honoured at PSA2024, with the PDL and PSA Conference Volunteer of the Year award, which offers a $500 education grant.
PSA National President Fei Sim praised the partnership, emphasising the invaluable contributions of student volunteers at conferences.
"Our student volunteers make a huge difference," commented Sim.
"We are proud to offer them a tailored program, including an interactive session with PDL."
PDL Chair Paul Naismith added, "student volunteers are key to running conferences, and we look forward to awarding an outstanding volunteer at PSA24".
Nominations will be accepted during the conference, with the award presented on 04 Aug.
