THE Federal Minister of Health, Disability and Ageing, Mark Butler (pictured), is set to attend Pharmacy Connect 2025 next month, the Pharmacy Guild of Australia has announced.
Minister Butler will join the Premier of NSW, Chris Minns (PD 03 Jun), to address delegates during the Opening Plenary on Thu 04 Sep.
"It is a great honour to welcome Minister Butler and Premier Minns to Pharmacy Connect 2025," said Conference Convenor and Branch Committee member for the Guild, Kos Sclavos.
"Their joint presence signals a shared recognition across federal and state governments of the integral role community pharmacy plays in Australia's primary healthcare system.
"We look forward to hearing their perspectives on the sector's future direction."
Pharmacy Connect 2025 will take place at the Hyatt Regency Sydney from 03-05 Sep, centred on the theme 'From Inspiration to Action'.
"Pharmacy Connect is an essential opportunity for pharmacy professionals to connect, learn, and engage with key decision-makers in health," Sclavos added.
