NO jaws of life required. Two Swiss painters have escaped a horror smash without a scratch, in what some are calling a miracle escape. The pair, teenage decorator Vanessa Kastner, and her 28-year old boss, Admir Kaiser, were travelling in a van when it was struck suddenly by a tram. The van was dragged by the tram for 50 metres before being crushed against an electricity pylon. “When we crawled out and I saw hat was left of the van I couldn’t believe that we’d survived,” said Kastner. The accident may have been caused when Kaiser hit the accelerator into the trams path instead of the brakes.
