publish its draft guidance to reduce
medication errors by no later than
30 September.
According to the agency medication
naming, labelling and packaging
practices play a large role in
medication errors, clocking up a
whopping 30% responsibility for all
fatal errors reported to the US
Institute for Safe Medication Practices,
and methods to remedy this will
