Guild Ins adds counselling

GUILD Insurance has announced
changes to its Burglary Cover
product, providing improved
Trauma Counselling for pharmacists
in the event of a traumatic incident.
Previously available for Business
Interruption claims only, the
trauma cover is also now accessible
for burglary incidents.
Stuart Stubbs, Guild Insurance
Head of Client Services, said the
move was important “as it now
means pharmacists have access
to rapid response critical incident
counselling for anyone affected by
a traumatic event connected with
their business.
“It also covers counselling services
for anyone not eligible for cover
under Workers’ Compensation,”
Stubbs said.
The change, which is effective
immediately for existing policies,
means that pharmacists now
also receive cover for the cost of
a replacement pharmacist if the
pharmacy owner insured on the
policy is affected by the incident;
an increase in the limit of cover
to $2500 per claim per location;
and all pharmacy staff including
contractors will now be covered.
