Bennett to leave CHF

CONSUMERS Health Forum ceo Carol Bennett yesterday announced her resignation after five years leading the organisation. “I believe the time has come for me to move to fresh challenges,” she said, in a statement which added that during her tenure the Consumers Health Forum “has cemented its position as Australia’s pre-eminent advocate for health consumers”. Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia president Sue Kirsa said that Bennett had been an inspirational leader, with SHPA looking forward to continuing its productive relationship with the CHF. And the Pharmacy Guild also wished her well, saying it looks forward to working with whomever is chosen as CHF’s incoming ceo for the benefit of all Australian health care consumers.
