Affairs is urging pharmacists to be
“vigilant with claims and pricing” of
non-PBS and non-RPBS items.
Non-schedule items must be
priced on the basis of the GSTexclusive
invoiced wholesale
price to pharmacists, plus the
appropriate PBS mark-up and
dispensing fee.
Claims for items not listed in the
RPBS schedule will not be paid
where there is no prior approval,
and where the item price to
pharmacists is over $100 a copy of
