Griffith Health Institute is
running a clinical trial to determine
whether elderberry capsules will
protect people from colds and flus,
as well as other negative health
effects following long-haul flights.
Preliminary analysis of 25%
of participants has shown the
occurrence of cold and flu
symptoms is higher in the control
group, the University said.
The trial is seeking a further 180
participants to finish the study, with
