Medicines Australia ceo nets senior industry position.
Medicines Australia ceo Dr Brendan Shaw will be leaving the organisation for a “senior position within the global pharmaceutical industry.”
No further details as to the appointment were immediately available but Shaw said he would be sad to be leaving Medicines Australia on 12 Sep.
However, Shaw said his new role would allow him to “stay in touch” with the pharmaceutical industry.
Medicines Australia chairman Dr Martin Cross said the organisation had begun to look for a new ceo.
“While I am not able to discuss the specifics, the news that Brendan has been appointed to a senior international position is a great step forward for Brendan in his career and recognition of the work he and Medicines Australia have done over the years.”
