PRICE changes to medications covered by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme will be advised to pharmacists up to five weeks in advance under a provision of the Fifth Community Pharmacy Agreement. Previously a maximum of two weeks’ notice was given, with the expanded timeframe aimed at allowing more certainty in pharmacy stock management.
