Pharmaceutical giant Pfizer
has “made unjustifiable threats”
relating to prescriptions from
doctors that used the generic name
pregabalin instead of the brand
name Lyrica when prescribing the
product for pain, according to an
article in The BMJ.
The comments threatened
doctors because they said they may
be open to litigation for prescribing
a generic, but the UK High Court
overruled, saying the claims were
