Slimina weightloss capsules shows
the products contain therapeutic
quantities of sibutramine.
The TGA said it’s aware that some
Australian consumers may have
bought the unapproved product
over the internet.
Prescription-only sibutramine was
withdrawn from sale in Australia in
Oct 2010 due to safety concerns,
and the TGA advised consumers to
stop using the capsules and discard
any remaining product.
“Consumers are again advised to
exercise extreme caution about
purchasing medicines from
unknown overseas internet sites,”
