The Pharmacy Board of Australia
has highlighted revised registration
standards and CPD guidelines which
took effect yesterday, 01 Dec 2015.
The Board says a revised
Frequently Asked Questions
document on CPD for pharmacists
and pharmacy interns will be
published later this month, to
help pharmacists comply with
the changes which include the
requirement for every pharmacist
to develop a CPD plan.
Obligations under the new
guidelines must be satisfied by the
next registration renewal period on
30 Nov 2016, and do not apply to
the current cycle of renewals.
Supervised practice, recency
of practice and examinations for
general registration are also the
