Board pharmacist infographic

THE Pharmacy Board of Australia has published a new infographic which details the obligations of a registered pharmacist. Chair William Kelly said pharmacists who are registered under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme must meet the Board’s standards and expectations of the profession. “This is a requirement throughout pharmacists’ careers and not just upon initial registration,” he said. The infographic aims to provide a simple guide to the obligations of a pharmacist under the National Law, “and will help pharmacists ensure they do the right thing as one of the 14 regulated health professions,” Kelly said. The Board has also developed a sample sample CPD plan/record to guide pharmacists in developing their CPD plan and record of completed activities. A blank template of the CPD plan is also available for download at pharmacyboard.gov.au.
