THE ACCC is continuing its pursuit
of erectile dysfunction company
Advanced Medical Institute (AMI),
expanding court action to also
encompass the business’ new
owner, NRM Trading.
NRM bought AMI after it was
placed into voluntary
administration on 22 Dec 2010 - the
day after the ACCC instituted
proceedings against it.
In Jul the operation was sold to
NRM, and the ACCC is alleging that
it’s engaged in “unconscionable
conduct” and breaching Australian
Consumer Law by entering into
unfair contracts with customers
