NATIONAL Party leader Barnaby
Joyce has made a commitment
reaffirming his party’s ongoing
support of community pharmacies.
An open letter from Joyce
released by the Pharmacy Guild this
week says the current pharmacy
ownership laws “deliver a diverse
ownership base of thousands of
small business proprietors, rather
than concentrating pharmacies
in the hands of a handful of large
corporates”.
Joyce said the owner-operated
model means the health of regional
Australians is put first and foremost
by small business proprietors who
live in and invest in their local
communities. The above article was sent to subscribers in Pharmacy Daily's issue from 20 May 16 To see the full newsletter, see the embedded issue below or CLICK HERE to download Pharmacy Daily from 20 May 16
