SYDNEY pharmacist Anthony
Cheung has pleaded guilty to
poisoning a co-worker (PD 16 May),
admitting to spiking her drink with
prescription drugs 23 times.
At a hearing in Waverley Local
Court yesterday a police statement
confirmed Cheung used phenergan,
doxylamine, endep, seroquel and
deptran to adulterate the woman’s
water or instant coffee.
The pharmacist allegedly wanted
to make his victim suffer after she
rejected his sexual advances, with
the woman experiencing a range
of symptoms including extreme
drowsiness.
