THE Chinese Medicine Board
of Australia has posted new
‘Guidelines for safe Chinese herbal
medicine practice’ on its website.
The new guidelines will take effect
from 12 Nov 2017, giving a two
year transition period since a 2015
consultation report was released.
The Board said the guidelines
address a policy gap by providing
clear guidance for practitioners,
to make sure there is clarity
and transparency about the
expectations of those providing
Chinese herbal medicine services.
A user guide and nomenclature
