RESMED, in consultation with
the TGA, has initiated a recall for
product correction in relation
to its Astral 100 and Astral 150
ventilators due to an internal
battery issue.
ResMed said it will replace
the internal battery in affected
ventilators as part of the routine
maintenance service, in Sep 2016.
Some reports have said the
ventilation machines have failed on
occasions without alerting to the
