THE Australian Commission of Safety and Quality in Health Care has posted a listing of hospital acquired complications (HAC) for which clinical risk mitigation strategies may reduce the risk of that complication occurring.
Among medication complications identified are drug related respiratory complications/depression, haemorrhagic disorder due to circulating anticoagulants and hypoglycaemia.
