WOMEN 65 years and over who consume above the median level of caffeine per day have lower odds of probable dementia or cognitive impairment, according to a US study published in The Journals of Gerontology.
The findings from the Women's Health Initiative Memory Study are described by the authors as "consistent with the existing literature showing an inverse association between caffeine intake and age-related cognitive impairment."
