UNDER a pilot study to improve patient care, 14 general practices across Western Sydney are having pharmacists integrated into their practices.
The practices involved are based in Blacktown, Seven Hills and Quakers Hill.
It will run until mid-2017 and is based on a previous study conducted earlier this year (PD 18 Feb), which suggested that a collaboration between medical practitioners and pharmacists boosted patient care and reduced medication-related problems.
