THE Pharmacy Guild’s
Queensland Branch has taken
out a not-for-profit award during
last week’s Queensland Mental
Health Week Achievement
Awards ceremony in Brisbane.
The branch worked closely
with four Primary Healthcare
Networks to help provide
education and training to staff at
100 pharmacies via the Partners
in Recovery Pharmacy Integration
Programs.
Aimed to improve collaborative
care, the program links together
pharmacies, pharmacy staff
and mental health support
providers in a bid to improve the
knowledge, skills and attitude
of pharmacy staff and better
support people suffering from a
mental illness.
