HUMANS aren't the only animals who can't control themselves around sugar. When 180 kilogram gorilla, Kumbuka (pictured), escaped from his enclosure in London Zoo this month the entire place was put on lock down.
Authorities feared what the giant creature was capable of doing - that was until they found him sculling five litres of undiluted black currant cordial.
Kumbuka, who got out via an unlocked gate, sourced the cordial in the zookeeper area next to his enclosure.
Aside from a sugar high, the gorilla was in good health and was escorted back to his area.
THE laws of human attraction are not always straightforward.
In fact, plenty of us find some pretty random things alluring.
Online social community OurChoicesMakeUs took to Reddit to ask the weirdest thing people are attracted to and received more than 1,600 responses.
Some of the quirkiest response included: stretch marks - particularly the ones on thighs or breasts", "my boyfriend's right ear is folded down ever so slightly and I think it's the cutest thing. I call it his ear flippy".
Others admitted to loving crooked teeth, unique cheek bones and lisps.
Contrary to what the glossy magazines would have us think, sexy is not limited to perfectly proportioned airbrushed models.
