DISCOUNT pharmacies are growing their sales much faster than traditional chemist stores, according to figures revealed at the ASMI conference yesterday.
Daniel Bone from IRI Australia said discounters were continuing to disrupt the sector, with community pharmacy growing by 4% overall in 2015/16 but sales in the discount segment up a whopping 19.3%.
