HIGH-ACHIEVING intern pharmacist Seema Khiani (pictured 2nd from left) has been announced the winner of the PSA MIMS NSW/ACT Intern Pharmacist of the Year Award by the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA).
Khiani, from Capital Chemist in Charnwood in Canberra, championed and led a number of professional service initiatives during her intern year at the pharmacy prompting PSA NSW Branch director Caroline Khalil to congratulate Khiani saying, "Ms Khiani has demonstrated a patient-centric approach to driving the best possible patient outcomes while adding to the viability of the community pharmacy and contributing to professional satisfaction."
Khiani will now compete at PSA's flagship conference PSA17 28-30 Jul in Sydney for the national award.
