THE Minister for Health has announced a plan that involves community groups across Australia working together to deliver targeted local action to help tackle drug use and addiction.
The first 40 Local Drug Action Teams have been announced with more than 160 partnerships formed between local councils, service providers, schools, police, sporting groups and non-government organisations under federal funding of $298m over four years.
