THERE is a reason why there's beauty in beauty sleep.
King's College in London took photos of 25 women after two nights in which one group slept about seven and a half hours and the others for an average of four hours and 15 minutes.
When 122 people were asked to rate the subjects' beauty on a seven-point scale, those with less sleep came out 0.2 points lower.
That may be because sleepless people can appear more sad as their mouths droop more, they seem more pale as a lack of sleep reduces blood flow to the skin and swollen red eyes & hanging eyelids are a dead giveaway.
People have more glossy hair and a fresher and more healthy glow when they are well rested.
In other news, it's no more cheese please for some people that have a condition called histamine intolerance.
The digestive enzyme in our guts called diamine oxidase is meant to break down a component of stomach acid known as histamine and for some...it refuses to budge.
