THE Taskforce currently reviewing over 5,700 items covered by the Medicare Benefits Schedule has released its third round of recommendations for feedback.
There are 40 recommendations affecting over 170 items - along with proposed changes in relation to urgent after-hours primary care services, with review chairman Bruce Robinson saying Medicare growth in this area "does not seem to reflect patients' clinical needs".
