TWO recent raids by the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) have resulted in convictions in two separate cases of illegal importation and sale of unlicensed erectile dysfunction (ED) medicines.
David Antley, of Dovecot, Liverpool, was sentenced last week at Liverpool Crown Court, found with more than 13,900 doses of unlicensed ED medicines worth more than 40,000, while Gurinder Bharaj, of Southall, West London, had more than 100,000 individual doses of unlicensed erectile dysfunction medicines worth more than 30,000.
Both pleaded guilty and face 20 weeks imprisonment.
