ASX-LISTED patient contact and digital signage company Jayex Australia has signed an agreement with Melbourne-based HMR Referrals, according to a report in Pulse+IT.
The arrangement will see Jayex promote its electronic referrals platform for home medicines reviews (HMR) to medical clinics using the Jayex Appointuit online patient appointment system and other patient engagement tools.
HMR Referrals specialises in clinical systems within electronic and digital frameworks, and works with accredited pharmacists providing a secure platform for collaboration between GPs and accredited pharmacists in the provision of home medicine reviews.
The company launched its first-of-a-kind system in June last year and allows GPs to make an electronic referral for a HMR to an accredited pharmacist and receive a report back all within their clinical software.
The system is currently being implemented in early adopter clinics in Queensland and HMR Referrals says it is hoping to begin rolling out in NSW in the next couple of months.
