THE Endeavour Hills & Heatherton Road Chemmart Pharmacy Christmas party is fast becoming an institution in the outer Melbourne suburb, with more than 320 people coming to the store's 2017 celebration.
Pharmacist Grace Chong, who's pictured with some of her team above, said 12 years ago she decided to hold a party for patients and customers.
"We recognised that we had a large older population, many of whom were not very mobile and also who often did not have family," she said.
"So we threw a party and about 80 people came, but it has grown since then so it is now a major community event that everyone seems to know about."
As well as gathering the local community, the pharmacy presents its annual employee awards, with many locals keen to see who has won the staff member of the year award.
Chong, who is also a Pharmacy Guild of Australia National Councillor, said the shops in the local shopping centre contributed to the festive food on offer, while her mother and her business partners' mother do all the cooking for the event.
