MyPak Solutions to provide “end-to-end industry-leading DAA solution”.
Arrow Pharmaceuticals and Douglas Pharmaceuticals have just announced the formation of a new joint venture company called MyPak Solutions Pty Ltd which they say “is set to become the leading Dose Administration Aid company in the Australian pharmaceutical and aged care industries”.
MyPak Solutions has acquired Practicare and Medico, and also has the Australian distribution rights to the Japanese-made Alpaca Blister Pack Dispensing Robot.
Arrow chairman Dennis Bastas said the incorporation of MyPak and its acquisition of the Medico and Practicare businesses “enables us to provide our customers with a complete solution in the DAA market in Australia,” while Douglas Pharmaceuticals md Jeff Douglass said “we are leaders in the DAA market in New Zealand and we will be bringing our learnings to this joint venture with Arrow in the Australian market”.
