THE Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has issued a Safety Advisory relating to a product labelled Hypnotic poisom capsules saying they contain the undeclared substances sibutramine and phenolphthalein and pose a risk to health.
Sibutramine, which was the active ingredient in Reductil, was withdrawn in Oct 2010 after a study showed an increased risk of major cardiac events.
