AUSTRALIAN-LED research has brought new hope to patients with cystic fibrosis.
A new drug known as VX-445 when added to existing treatments has demonstrated improved lung function in the studies.
The University of Queensland, Monash University, Alfred Hospital, Mater Hospital and National Jewish Health, USA, collaborated in the study with a follow-up research project supporting the findings.
