KEN Harvey has asked that Pharmacy Daily print a correction, after he lodged a complaint with the Therapeutic Goods Administration about a hangover product which did not actually contain the ingredient he was concerned about (PD yesterday).
Harvey, who is an Associate Professor at Monash University, raised issues around kudzu root (pueraria lobata) which is contained in Hangover Relief (ARTG 304293) and Rejoove (ARTG 296905).
However the product originally cited, Phoenix Pharmaceuticals' Rapid Recovery (ARTG 262916) does not contain the ingredient.
We apologise for publishing the information incorrectly supplied.
